January 12, 2011 The website for the 19th biennial conference of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (WCGTC) to be held in Prague (August 8-12, 2011) is now online. The conference link can be accessed at http://www.worldconference2011.org/. This conference will be held in partnership with Czech Technical University in Prague and Pedagogická fakulta Masarykovy University. By accessing the conference website, participants may register for the conference, submit abstracts, and upload papers and presentations.
January 3, 2011 The unforeseen political circumstances which have arisen in South Korea have necessitated the Executive Committee making a very difficult decision. In consideration of the safety of our conference participants, it has become necessary to find a new location for the 19th World Conference. We are extremely pleased to announce that the conference has been moved to Prague, the Czech Republic, a beautiful, historic city in Eastern Europe. The dates for the conference are August 8-12.
